We’ve recently encountered cases of Haemonchus in the area, with some animals experiencing sudden death without obvious signs of illness. This parasite attaches to the lining of the abomasum, draining blood and causing anemia, which can be fatal if untreated. Affected animals typically show extremely high faecal egg counts and may appear pale in their eyes, gums, vulva, and other areas.
